Right as we climbed down we were accosted by two dragon-dwarves, one more highly ranking than the other, both priests. The high priest ran up and started yelling at me while we were still on the ladder down — despite my best efforts I couldn’t convince them we were priest from “somewhere else” & he hit me with a big hammer and I fell off the ladder. The golem, who was right above me, then jumped off the ladder and body slammed the guy! The paladin seemed pretty intent on us not killing these guys but I nailed one pretty good with my sword and the demon zapped them with magic. We outnumbered these priest pretty easy so we pretty easily hit them until they went to sleep, then we looked around the corner and found a prison. Along the back is a huge blue — lizard? Creature? That has ice breath & a seriously mean attitude. It was guarding the body of a sea-elf & everyone argued about whether it was an animal or an alien and if speak with animals would work on an alien for what felt like an hour. We did eventually cast speak with animals on it & it turns out it was rude so we decided it was okay to attack it.

The cell to one side was a young kobold who had been awoken from the dragons spell & told us about how this dragon is an invader, an interloper. I helped the child drag the two priests into her now empty cell while she changed into one of the priests robes. After some hassle it was decided I go unlock the meat cellar, another cell which instead of holding men held big slices of meat. Hot tip! There’s a pad in front of the door that electrocuted me and made me deaf for 6 minutes. I disabled the trap & unlocked the door, but for some reason when the Golem went to unlock the door his arms disconnected from his body. The demon fixed him up but the child sort of. Lost confidence in us a little. Since the monster seems mean & didn’t want to be reasoned with we just kept shooting at it through the bars of its cage. The giant made spike me grown out of the floor and ceiling keeping it in place while the demon teleported in and grabbed the bag off the sea-elf corpse. In it it had an ancient book on ? In old high elvish. We then went along and hid in a weird closet that seemed to emanate fear.
